Red Sky Solutions is currently seeking to hire a Systems Engineer/Pre Sales Engineer for the Red Sky Phoenix office. This is a full time position reporting to the VP of Engineering. | Education or Skills: |
- BS in Computer Science, EE or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years’ experience in pre sales Engineering capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert level knowledge of one or more core technology partners: Brocade, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, HPE/Aruba, Pure Storage, AWS
- Practical, hands on experience with core technology partners’ solutions strongly desired
- Experience designing and implementing large scale IP networks with IP switch/route, wireless and security elements
- Expert level knowledge of Enterprise campus protocols – L2 switching, VRRP(e), RSTP, PoE, QoS
- In depth experience with multiple routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP)
- Proficiency with SDN concepts and technologies
- Proven ability to complete tasks and projects while working independently
